Meet Our Caring Staff
Meet our staff, members of the local community who make everything that happens possible.

Kari & Bruce Daniel
Owners
Bruce and Kari Daniel are the proud owners of Westbrock Funeral Home since 2024, and Arpp, Root & Carter Funeral Home since 2018, where they are honored to serve families with compassion, integrity, and a genuine commitment to personalized care. Together, they believe every life deserves to be celebrated and every family deserves to feel supported, heard, and cared for during one of life’s most difficult times.
Bruce, a 1992 graduate of Northmont High School, has dedicated his career to serving others. In addition to co-owning the funeral homes, he owns and operates a mortuary transportation company, providing dependable, respectful care and support to funeral homes and families throughout the region. His calm demeanor, strong work ethic, and servant’s heart have earned the trust and respect of those he serves.
Kari, a 1991 graduate of Valley View High School, earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2015 before becoming a licensed funeral director in 2018. She considers it a true privilege to walk alongside families as they honor the lives of those they love, offering guidance, comfort, and compassionate support every step of the way.
As husband and wife, Bruce and Kari are grateful for the opportunity to serve their community together, treating every family with the same care and respect they would want for their own. Bruce is the proud father of his son, Jackson, and Kari is the proud mother of her daughter, Cameron.
Together, they are active members of Fairhaven Church in Centerville and enjoy giving back to the community through organizations including the Germantown Lions Club, Heart of Centerville & Washington Township, and the Ronald McDonald House, where they volunteer their time and talents. When they're not serving others, they enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors, and making memories with family and friends.
For Bruce and Kari, funeral service is more than a profession—it's a calling to care for others with kindness, dignity, and compassion when families need it most.

Wendi Flor
Funeral Director | Embalmer
Wendi Flor is a passionate and dedicated funeral service professional who graduated from Valley View High School in 1989. She received her associate’s degree in nursing in 1990 and was a Registered Nurse for 13 years before attending Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in 2005. She began her career with an apprenticeship at Tobias Funeral Home, where she worked for five years, followed by another five years at Gebhart, Schmidt, and Parramore. In 2016, she joined the team at Westbrock Funeral Home, continuing her commitment to compassionate care. She also splits her time when needed at Arpp, Root & Carter Funeral Home in Germantown, OH.
Wendi is the proud mother of her son, Justin Flor, and enjoys spending time with her family. She loves being outdoors, going mudding in four-wheel drives, traveling—especially to the beach—and being around water. What she cherishes most about her work is the opportunity to help people and meet new families, and she approaches her job with genuine passion and dedication.

Ali Bowman
Funeral Director Apprentice
Ali Bowman is a compassionate and dedicated funeral director apprentice who will be completing her licensing journey with Arpp, Root & Carter Funeral Home and Westbrock Funeral Home by the end of 2026.
With a passion for serving others and helping families through life’s most meaningful moments, Ali brings warmth, organization, and genuine care to every family she serves.
Originally from the Germantown area, Ali spent time living in the Cleveland and Chicago areas before returning to Ohio. She graduated from Prairie Ridge High School in 2015 and went on to earn her bachelor's degree in healthcare management from the University of Findlay.
Before entering funeral service, Ali built a successful career as a Venue and Event Manager in the wedding industry, where she discovered her love for working with people and helping them navigate important life events. After experiencing the loss of her grandmother and helping her own family make funeral arrangements, Ali felt called to a new path—one where she could support others during some of their most difficult and meaningful moments.
Ali joined Arpp, Root & Carter Funeral Home in 2024 as an Administrative Assistant and Funeral Director Apprentice, serving families at both the Arpp, Root & Carter location and Westbrock Funeral Home locations.
Outside of work, Ali enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and their four dogs as they continue building their family farm and tending to their garden. She loves reading, traveling, and finding new adventures and experiences to share with her family.
Ali’s goal is simple: to provide each family with a caring, seamless, and comforting experience while honoring the life and memories of their loved one.
