William A. “Bill” Trick Sr., age 95, passed away on November 2, 2026. He was born in Dayton on August 7, 1931, the son of Lawrence and Bertha (Schnorr) Trick.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Joan S. (Tipton) Trick; children, Theresa (Dan) Ruschau, Bill Trick Jr., Joe (Mel) Trick, Kathie (Bill) Gerdes, Dan (Julie) Trick and Tim (Tara) Trick; twenty grandchildren, along with dozens of great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Nancy Lou Hammonds and Anna Marie Tipton, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his daughters, Regina and Lianne Trick, his nine siblings, in-laws, nieces, nephews and their spouses.

Bill will be remembered as an amazing friend and role-model to everyone he met, especially to his family.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 5-7pm in the WESTBROCK & DANIEL FUNERAL HOME- DAYTON, 1712 Wayne Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in his honor on Friday at 10:00am in Emmanuel Catholic Church, 149 Franklin St., Dayton. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
