Timothy Ray Osborne, affectionately known as Tim, passed away on July 6, 2026, in Dayton, Ohio, in the home he was raised in. He was born on March 8, 1958, in Dayton, a city that remained part of his life’s story.  He was the beloved only child of Thomas and Mattie (Smith) Osborne, who preceded him in death.

Tim was a graduate of Belmont High School, class of 1976. He continued his education at the University of the Cumberlands, where he earned a BBA degree with Cum Laude distinction in 1979. His accomplishments reflected both dedication and perseverance. He worked for AT&T for many years. He retired from Avery Dennison in 2025. He also found joy in simple pleasures and was known to love roller skating.

Tim is survived by numerous cousins who loved him and will miss him dearly.

A memorial service and burial will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Woodland Cemetery Mausoleum, 118 Woodland Avenue, Dayton, OH 45409.

Tim will be remembered with respect for the life he lived, the milestones he achieved, and the memories he leaves behind.
