Thomas W. Keithley

KEITHLEY, Thomas W., age 74, of Washington Twp., Ohio, was called/whistled home on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, to join his wife (Marianna S. nee Lang) of 45 years and parents Robert D. and Emma L. (Myers) of Charlottesville, Virginia; and brother, Ronald D. Keithley of Charlottesville, Virginia. Survived by son, Robert E. of Washington Twp., Ohio; daughters, Catherine E. Jones (Russell) of Monroe, Ohio, and Kristie A. Clark (Kevin) of Washington Twp., Ohio; and four grandchildren Mackayla, Landon and Lincoln Jones and Marianna Jean “MJ” Clark; sister, Judith A. Graham of Dallas, Texas; brother, Kevin L. Keithley (Maureen) of Menlo Park, California; 22 nieces and nephews, and 24+ grandnieces and grandnephews.

Tom was born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, graduated from Albemarle High School in Charlottesville, Virginia and N.C. State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. Tom was very active in supporting Boy Scouts of America as a Troop Scoutmaster (Troop 75, Earlysville, Virginia) for many years guiding several scouts to the level of Eagle Scout. Employed as a Vice-President of North America Marketing and Sales for IP Safety Lifting Clamps headquartered in Amsterdam, The Netherlands was the highlight of his career where he served his passion of the sciences and safety.

The family welcomes visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Avenue in Dayton, Ohio. Tom will be interred at Calvary Cemetery, 1625 Calvary Drive, Dayton, Ohio on Monday, April 15 at 11 a.m.
