Steven K. Bullens

Steven K. Bullens, a beloved brother and friend, known for his imposing presence and indomitable spirit, was born on October 10, 1959, in Troy, Ohio. He departed this world on February 3, 2026, in Centerville, Ohio, leaving behind fond memories for all who had the privilege to know him.

Steven dedicated much of his life to his craft as a tile setter. He approached each task with the firmness and tenacity that earned him the moniker "Bulldog" during his wrestling days at Wilbur Wright High School.  Later, the wrestling team was inducted into the Wilbur Wright Athletic Hall of Fame. His personality was characterized by a boisterous enthusiasm, a steadfast persistence, and an underlying generosity that defined his interactions with friends and family alike.

A proud veteran of the United States Army, Steven served his country with honor.  After his military service, he took up boxing where he excelled and earned the title of a Golden Glove Boxer in Dayton, OH.  He also enjoyed playing cards, and watching various sports including the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals.

Steven is survived by his family, including his brother Jamie (Linda) Bullens, along with his half brothers, Jon (Teresa) Williams and David (Roseanna) Williams. His spirit will undoubtedly live on through the lives he touched and the examples he set.

He was preceded in death by his father, Boyd Bullens, who surely welcomed him with open arms.

A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on February 28, 2026, beginning at 1:00 PM at Westbrock Kettering, located at 5980 Bigger Road, Kettering, OH 45440. This gathering will serve as a testament to the impact Steven had on his loved ones and the community, allowing all to share stories, laughter, and tears as they remember a man who was truly larger than life.

Steven K. Bullens will be deeply missed, but his legacy of strength, determination, and kindness will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him.
