"Bob”, age 80 from Dayton, Ohio passed away on Sunday, July 12th, 2026. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Darlene Lehman in 2021 and previously his father Earl A. Lehman, mother F. Margaret Lehman (Griffin), and sibling’s Peggy, Mike, Tom, Carl, Paul, Rita, Earl, and his 2 beloved fur babies- cats Thunder and Tony. He is survived by his step son, Michael H. and former step DIL Susan H.; 3 brothers Gene, Les, Larry, and sister Kathy and their families; two granddaughters Sarah C. and Taylor P.; their spouses Adam C. And Chi P.; along with 2 great grand children Koah and Oliver.

Bob grew up in a big family in Northridge, later on moving to Beavercreek where he graduated from Beavercreek High School in 1964. He briefly attended Wright State University where he ran the Rathskeller. Bob was a U.S. Veteran drafted in 1965 to serve as an Army Medic in the Dominican Republic during a revolution and he was proud of his honorable service. He was active with the VFW and American Legion. He also lived a very active social life with his wife Darlene. He was very artistically talented and was an exceptional calligrapher. He was very knowledgeable about movies and enjoyed classical music. Other hobbies included cooking, gardening, and bird watching- he loved hummingbirds. Bob worked mostly as a phlebotomist where he was later promoted to a supervisor position. Many of his regular patients became very fond of him. Bob spent retirement with his wife enjoying time with friends, family, and being a grandpa and great grandpa. 

Services will be held within the mausoleum at the Woodland Cemetery Chapel. Celebration of life to follow. Family will personally share dates and times of services as they are pending at this time.
