Bremer Robert T. (Bob), 82 of Dayton passed away on August 9, 2025 at Miami Valley Hospital. Bob lived a life marked by generosity, dedication, and unwavering love for family. Bob was born in Dayton, Ohio on May 21, 1943 to the late Robert F. and Frances (Zenni) Bremer.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Dinah (Hendrick) Bremer, his children Erin Bremer, Nicole (Larry) Harlow, Eric Bremer, Marla Bremer, and his brother Fredrick (Butch) Bremer of Dayton. Bob was the proud grandfather to nine grandchildren and great grandfather to two great grandchildren who brought immense joy and laughter to his life.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents Robert F. and Frances (Zenni) Bremer, His son Phillip Bremer, his grandson Seth Bremer, and his sister Linda Holbert.
Bob was a 1961 graduate of Chaminade High School where he made many lifelong friends. As a veteran of the U.S. Marines, he served his country with honor. After his military service he and his siblings took over the family business, owning Dayton Trucking for 30 years. He also spent 20 years as a mailman in Miamisburg where he was known for his reliability and friendly demeanor. Bob was an avid fan of UD Basketball and OSU Football. He loved spending time with family, especially sharing meals together. Most of all he loved to make people laugh. Bob’s legacy will forever remain in the hearts of those he loved and who loved him.
His integrity, commitment, and unwavering love for family especially through his actions have left an indelible mark, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 19, 2025 beginning at 9:30am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church 272 Bainbridge St., Dayton, Ohio 45402. Friends and Family are invited to a luncheon at Trinity Center directly following mass.
