Richard McLain

McLain, Richard L., age 83, of Fairborn, passed away Tuesday November 6, 2012. Dick, a 1947 graduate of Roosevelt High School, and a veteran of the U.S. Navy, was retired from General Motors. He was a loving father, husband and grandfather who very much enjoyed his family, music, golf and fishing. Dick is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Wanda; two daughters, Gail Hopkins (Mark), Ginny Lindsey (Tim); three sons, Mike McLain (Mindee), Dan McLain (Marilyn), Scott McLain; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. There will be a Funeral Service 10:00am Saturday at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road. Burial will follow in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 4-8pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3797 Summit Glen Drive, Dayton, OH 45449.
