Richard C. Clemens

Richard C. Clemens, 67, passed away on November 1, 2026, at Soin Medical Center after a brief illness.

He was born on January 17, 1959, in Dayton. He attended Stivers High School and spent most of his life working as a truck driver. He was known as someone who always had a story to tell, and he brought that spirit with him throughout his life.

Richard loved to fish and enjoyed being outdoors. He also loved working on cars, especially classic cars. He was a Christian and was proud of his faith. He was also a dog lover, and his latest companion, his dog Sissy, held a special place in his life.

He is survived by his daughters, Paula Clemens and Jamie Clemens, and 6 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Cynthia Rupert and her husband Ken, Nancy Klempay and her husband John, Rebecca France, and Robin Clemens and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. May their memories of Richard bring comfort in the days ahead.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Clyde and Helen Clemens; his brothers, Robert Clemens and William Clemens; and his sisters, Sue Clemens and Maureen Clemens.

Richard will be remembered for his love of family, his faith, his stories, and the simple joys he found in the outdoors, in cars, and in the companionship of a good dog. His memory will remain with those who knew and loved him.
