Raleigh Smith

RALEIGH SMITH, age 75, of Huber Heights, passed away on August 15, 2025 at Kettering Health Dayton-Grandview. He was born in Leslie County, Kentucky on May 16, 1950, the son of Lawrence and Verdie (Simpson) Smith.

Raleigh is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Angie (John) Cummings of Huber Heights; Amy Smith of Huber Heights; a son, John Smith of Huber Heights; grandchildren, Jacob Cummings, Daniel (Sarah) Chivers and Johnathan Smith; great-grandchildren, Iris, Amelia, Maddie and Oliver, along with his beloved dog, Luke AKA “Doodle Dumplins”

In addition to his parents, Raleigh was preceded in death by his thirteen brothers and sisters.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, August 25, 2025 from Noon to 1:00pm in the WESTBROCK FUNERAL HOME- DAYTON, 1712 Wayne Ave., with a funeral service beginning at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in the Medway Cemetery.
