Paula Jane Milligan, née Hart, age 59, of Vandalia, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, February 4th, 2026 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
Paula was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, the youngest of 5 children. She studied Computer Science at the University of Dayton and Wright State University. After graduating with honors from Wright State with a Bachelor of Science degree, she worked at NCR until retiring to spend time with her children.
Paula will be remembered by her family and friends as being intelligent, insightful, warmhearted, and for having a great sense of humor. She cared deeply for everyone in her life, raising her children while caring for her parents in their later years. She regularly volunteered with the FIRST robotics organization, sparking a passion for science and engineering in many young lives. She enjoyed spending time outdoors through her love of gardening, hiking, and biking. Paula loved planning excursions and adventures for her family, often discovering opportunities to explore areas "off the beaten path." She shared these experiences with her family and friends, all of which will continue to keep her memories alive.
Paula was preceded in death by her father, Albert Hart; mother, Mary Hart, née Rudzienski; and sister-in-law Anastasia Hart. She is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 34 years, Scott Milligan; son, Ean; daughter, Clarissa; siblings and their spouses, Michael Hart of Burbank, California; Joseph and Jo Ellen Hart of Littleton, Colorado; Anne and John Hassoun of Falls Church, Virginia; and David and Michelle Hart of Cincinnati, Ohio; father-in-law, Larry Milligan; mother-in-law Cheryl Milligan; brothers-in-law and their partners/spouses, Jon Milligan and Stephanie Whitley; and Brian Milligan and Jane Murawski; nieces and nephews and their spouses, Justin and Mary Anne Hart; Danielle Hassoun; Kimberly Hart and Aisha Nammari; Nicole Hassoun and Sukhpreet Gadh; and Luke Milligan, and grand-nieces, Maya Gadh and Isha Gadh.
Visitation will take place on Friday, the 13th of February, 2026 from 4 PM to 6:30 PM in the WESTBROCK FUNERAL HOME- KETTERING, 5980 Bigger Rd.
