Paul F. Sloan

Paul “Rosebud” Franklin Sloan, 85 years of age, passed away June 26th, 2022. Born April 17, 1937, in Catlettsburg, KY. He attended Catlettsburg High School where he excelled in athletics and was an All-State Running Back receiving a full scholarship to play football at the University of Kentucky. He was a commissioned member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels, served two years in the U.S. Army, and worked in the Insurance industry for more than forty years. Paul loved his Kentucky Wildcats Basketball and Football, fishing, gardening, cooking and being with family. Preceded in death by his parents Oliver F. Sloan, Mary Louise Harvey (Hayes), Marilynn Sloan Guyer (Sister), George Hubert Sloan (Brother). Survived by three children, Jennifer (Tony), Martin (Maureen), Robert (Shelley), grandsons Cameron, Colin, Justin, Joshua. Private family service will be held at Bellbrook Cemetery, Bellbrook Ohio. A special thank you to his kind and loving neighbors, especially Mary Beth Roffman, for all of their help and support they have given our Dad over the years.
