Mary O'Brien

Mary P. (Wenzler) O’Brien, 82, of Oakwood passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. She was born on July 6, 1943 to the late Anthony B. and Rose Mary Wenzler. Mary married John D. (“Dee”) O’Brien. He preceded her in death in 2009. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Tony Wenzler and sister, Barbara Davis.

Mary was a graduate of Julienne High School and the University of Dayton. Mary was a teacher in the Kettering City school system for many years. 

Survivors include her daughter Mary Pat (Jeff) Siehl of Springboro; two grandsons, Jack and Michael Siehl; her sister Nancy (Don) Strenk; and many other beloved family members.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 14, 2025 from 9:30-10:30 am at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave. Mass will follow at 11 am at Holy Angles Church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio Hospice of Dayton.
