Mary Jane DeWinter

Mary Jane DeWinter, age 63, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024. She was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Rosemary DeWinter. She is survived by many cousins and friends.
She graduated from Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School, and Sinclair Community College. Her education was followed by a career with Green Memorial Hospital.
She was a life-long member of Corpus Christi Church and an Eucharist Minister for many years.
Mary had many interests including painting ceramics, sewing, creating art projects, gardening, reading receipts, and being an avid reader.
Mary was the epitome of the expression, “Give the shirt off her back.” She was always ready to assist anyone who needed a ride or groceries or miscellaneous needs. During the Pandemic, she made countless masks for people. Mary surprised people with their favorite candy or a cute trinket. She was good about sending cards and caring wishes to family and friends. She was a consistent visitor at Maria Joseph Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for many years, visiting many and playing card games and other games, plus arriving with treats.
She will be missed by family and many good friends.
