Marianne P. Jones

Jones, Marianne P., age 81 of Oakwood passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024. Marianne was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, in 2014 and her brother, John Brandenburg, in 2013. She is survived by her three sons and family, Kevin (Kris) and her three children of Oakwood, Tim (Toni), Hannah, Holly, Eli, Isaac of Lexington, Kentucky, Mike (Jackie) Sydney, Rodney, Marty of Fairborn; three daughters and family, Colleen (Jamie), Bobby, Shannon, Kacey Greer of Miamisburg, Maureen (Mike), Jack, Charlie, Tim Lunne of Kettering, Molly (Dan), Tommy, Andrew Lunne of Oakwood, her sister, Liz Drumm of Buffalo, New York, and her brother, Karl Brandenburg of Horseheads, New York.
A life-long UD fan, Marianne enjoyed her art, horse racing, volunteering at Dayton Children's, attending her grandchildren's events and spending time with friends and family. A special thank you to the doctors and incredible nurses who took care of Marianne at Miami Valley Hospital in the Critical Care Unit as well the wonderful staff at Hospice of Dayton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Foodbank of Dayton and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Private services will be held Saturday, February 3, at Westbrock Funeral Home, Kettering. Private burial to follow at Calvary Cemetary, A Celebration of Life will take place from noon to three on February 3 at NCR Country Club.
