Macie Arlene Cline, a beloved matriarch and compassionate soul, departed this world on February 12, 2026, in Dayton, Ohio. Born on November 14, 1940, in Chapmanville, West Virginia, Macie brought warmth and joy to all who crossed her path. Macie was the epitome of love, affection, and dedication, serving as the best wife, mother and caretaker anyone could ever hope for. She was a nurturing presence in the lives of her family, providing unwavering support, kindness, and wisdom throughout her years. Her life was enriched by a marriage that spanned an impressive 70 years with her devoted husband, James Cline, whose companionship was a testament to their love and partnership. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Kimberlyn Foster, Jamie (Craig) Cline, Bethany Robin (Rob) Stedham, and John (Debbie) Cline, each of whom carry forward the lessons of love and resilience she instilled in them. The legacy of her nurturing spirit continues through her grandchildren, Mark (Kari) Underwood, Rachel Oliver, Rose (Dillon) Lujano, Carly Cline, and James Cline, who will forever hold dear the memories spent under her tender care. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren, including Owen Oliver, Adam Oliver, Lilly Toms, Macie Underwood, and Grace Underwood, and a great-great-grandchild, Toby Stenger, who brought even more joy into her life. Macie’s life was not without sorrow, as she was preceded in death by her parents, Dillard and Louisa (Napier) Williamson, as well as by her grandsons, Adam and Peter Underwood. She also mourned the loss of her siblings: Paul, Maxine, Goldie, Mary, Ruby, Kyle, Leslie, and Gladys Williamson. Each of these lost loved ones held a special place in her heart, and their memories remained with her throughout her life.Her life celebrations will be held on February 17, 2026, at Westbrock Funeral Home - WAYNE AVE in Dayton, Ohio. A visitation will commence at 11:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM, concluding with a graveside service at Woodland Cemetery where she will be laid to rest.Macie Arlene Cline leaves behind a legacy of love that will resonate through generations. Her spirit will continue to inspire and guide her family, reminding them of the strength of love, togetherness, and the importance of family. As they navigate the journey of life without her physical presence, they will forever be grateful for the light she brought into their lives.
