KAREN E. McNEILY, age 61, of Dayton, passed away on April 3, 2026. She was born in Great Lakes, Illinois, on October 31, 1964, the daughter of Roy and Charlene (Boster) McNeily. Karen was an organ, eye, and tissue donor, already saving three lives and counting through her gift.

She leaves behind her daughter, Mary (Joshua) Trent; son, James (Mandy) McNeily; brother, Joseph McNeily; sisters, Kathleen McNeily and Erin (Aaron) Schulte; grandchildren, Billy, Tyler, Aubrey, Parker and AJ, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents.

Karen was a dedicated employee at Dot’s Market in Kettering, where she worked for many years as a manager. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, reading, and playing games at family dinners. Karen will be missed by all whose lives she touched.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 6-8pm in the WESTBROCK FUNERAL HOME- DAYTON, 1712 Wayne Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in her honor by Fr. Len Wenke on Wednesday, April 22 at 11:00am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 820 Bowen Street, Dayton. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Karen’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
