Joan Welsh peacefully passed away at home on April 24, 2026 at age 93 after battling colon cancer. Born in Dayton, she married George Welsh (passed 1992) and is survived by Dana (Mike) Pohl, Lisa Gressel, grandson Brant (Morgan) Gressel, great granddaughter Allie, along with two nieces Tawny and Tiffany.

Joan worked at Durion as an Executive Assistant with her wonderful sister, Charlene. She also traveled the world extensively.

Joan could be found playing golf and bridge at Community GC and at the Kettering American Legion. She so enjoyed these hobbies with many wonderful lady friends.

This beautiful mother was described as "a very, classy lady" by many admirers. We are so grateful she enjoyed a long, healthy, happy life.

There will be a private family burial, with a Celebration of Life in the near future. Please direct donations to Day City Hospice.
