Janet L. (O'Connell) Summers

Summers, Janet L. (O’Connell), age 90, of Miami Township, passed away Monday October 2nd. Mrs. Summers was a graduate of Good Samaritan Nursing School and practiced nursing for over 40 years. Janet was an avid card player and had a love for anything Irish. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Summers, and four siblings. She was survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Connie & Mark Hilton, Mary Jo & Joe Csizma; two sons and daughters-in-law, David & Kathy Summers and Rick & Sue Summers; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a sister, Carol O’Connell; a brother and sister-in-law, Tom & Jean O’Connell. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated 11:30am Friday at St. Henry Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:30am-11:30am at the Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross. Arrangements by The Westbrock Funeral Home.
