Gloria Jean Denney, age 70, of Beavercreek, passed away on November 1, 2026. She was born on March 17, 1956, the daughter of Carl and Janet (Denney) Napier.

Gloria graduated from high school in Naples, Florida before returning to Dayton with her mother, where she attended Sinclair Community College. In her later years, she resided at Beavercreek Post Acute, where she easily made friends with the staff and residents. She enjoyed crocheting, bingo, and had a love for small dogs. In her free time, Gloria loved watching WWE Wrestling. Gloria also loved visiting the beach and wanted to relocate back to Florida before she became unable to travel.

In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her uncles, Robert Denney and Harlan Denney; sisters, Marilyn Trett, Brenda Denney and Betty Heckman.

Gloria is survived by her uncle, Howard Thomas “Tom” (Cheryl) Denney; aunt, Kay (Gary) Pease, along with numerous cousins, friends and acquaintances.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:30am in the WESTBROCK & DANIEL FUNERAL HOME- DAYTON, 1712 Wayne Ave. A celebration of Gloria’s life will begin at 11:30. Burial will follow in the Lower Miami Cemetery.
