Glenn E. Powell

POWELL, Glenn E., age 86 of Centerville passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at The Hospice of Dayton. He was born on July 17, 1931 in S. Euclid, Ohio to the late, Marion and Jeannette (Gerhart) Powell. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Margaret (Leach) Powell; children, Kathy( Kevin) Hatten, Julie (Johann) Geyer, Colleen Corbett, Larry (Wendy) Corbett, Mike (Monsita) Corbett; 13 grandchildren and many other extended family and dear friends. Glenn served as a Chaplain in the U.S. Navy and retired after 25 years of service achieving the rank of Commander. Glenn was a kind and gentle man; and a devoted husband. He touched people’s lives and hearts. He will be greatly missed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 12, 2018 at St. Leonard’s Chapel, 8100 Clyo Rd., Centerville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Hospice of Dayton or the St. Leonard’s Benevolent Fund. Arrangements entrusted to The Westbrock Funeral Home. His final resting place will be at a columbarium at Mission San Luis Rey, San Diego, CA.
