Kocevar, Regina (Gina) Kay, age 56 of Centerville passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Wednesday September 16, 2026. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Adolph and Regina Miller, maternal grandparents John and Angela Bendele, Mary Eads, and her brother Steve Miller.

She is survived by her son Peyton Kocevar, parents John and Mary Jane Miller of Centerville and Linda Eads of Kettering; sister and brother-in-law Kerri and Matt Jones, nephews Spencer and Beckett Jones, of Oakwood, her brother and sister-in-law Andy and Denise Miller, of Ft. Wayne, her sister-in-law Mindy Miller, niece Elise Miller, of Trinidad, and many extended family members and close friends.

Gina graduated from Centerville High School, attended The University of Toledo, and spent nearly 30 years in the health insurance industry and kindled many lifelong friendships with her clients. She will be remembered for her strength throughout life's challenges, her excellent home-cooked meals, her love of the Grand Teton Mountains, and her affinity for trying new restaurants.

Most of all, Gina will be remembered for her deep love of family and friends, her service and kindness to anyone she met and the brightness and joy she brought into any room she entered.

A celebration of life will be held at Church of the Incarnation, 55 Williamsburg Ln, Centerville, OH 45459 on Friday October 2, 2026 at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, Gina would have encouraged everyone to do a small act of kindness for a stranger in her honor, or a memorial donation in her name can be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
