Elizabeth K
Corrado Weizman
May 2, 1969 — Jun 11, 2026
Elizabeth Kathryn Corrado-Weizman was a beloved wife, mother, nonnie, daughter, sister,
friend, and life of the community in Clayton, Ohio. She passed away June 11, 2026 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio due to complications from Multiple Myeloma surrounded by her loving husband, parents, siblings, children and grandchildren.
Born on May 2, 1969, Elizabeth was the 3rd out of 6, always filling the air with her light and positivity. She spent most of her youth floating around Westbrook Village with a smile on her face. Swimming before she could walk, Elizabeth spent most of her time with her head under water, well known for her passion with synchronized swimming. From the beginning, exercise was a vital part of her life: she taught group fitness classes and women on weights programs at the Englewood YMCA, as well as competitively playing soccer through high school and college. Which led her to meet the love of her life, Larry Weizman.
She graduated from the University of Dayton in 1992 with a Bachelors of Education. Elizabeth and Larry got married in 1990 and began their life together, which included the birth of their three children. Elizabeth’s often uncomfortable and challenging pregnancies, three of which ended in miscarriages, only further demonstrate her fighting spirit, strength, and grit.
After devoting many years as an English teacher at Precious Blood/Mother Brunner she decided to open Bella Sorella Pizza, a pizza truck business, with her youngest sister Gail. Thirteen successful years later they opened a flagship restaurant in the Clayton area (by the same name) in September of 2025. This restaurant has always been a dream of Elizabeth's. She wished to leave a legacy welcoming the community with warmth, tradition, and good Italian food, the mark of her family, and the way in which she grew up.
She is survived by her husband Larry, son Lincoln Weizman, wife Samantha, and children Louie (3) and Sofia (1); daughter Francesca Vest, husband Alan, and children Lucia (3) and Vinny (1); and daughter Maria Weizman; her father and mother Vince and Marcy Corrado; and her brothers Marty and Matt, and sisters Yvette and Gail. She loved her grandchildren more than words could express. As you read this Elizabeth is at peace in Heaven with those who left before her including her fearless sister Kate, kind Aunt Gerri, and caring in-laws Ida and Ray Weizman.
Remembered for her infectious laugh, eclectic and vibrant style, and crazy animated hand gestures, she was a powerful force. Whether it was being a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, business owner, or friend she did everything with 150% effort and passion, even when her bones tried to stop her. We carry this force with us everyday as she finally reunites with her sister Kate.
Without Elizabeth there is a hole in all of our hearts, but without a doubt she will show up in all of our lives whether it’s when you see lemons, a bright floral jumpsuit, or a pizza with extra basil, just know she’s passing by to say hello. She taught us how to live life without worry.
In lieu of flowers, watch the Rocky movie 4 times, OR donate to Pelotonia, OR come share a meal with us at Bella Sorella Pizza.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, June 17 from 9:30-10:30 am at Precious Blood Church with a mass to follow. A celebration of life will follow the mass at Bella Sorella Pizza restaurant. Mass will be live streamed at northwestdaytoncatholic.org around 10:20 am.
