Douglas P. Wolfe, a beloved family member and friend, will be remembered for his appreciation for the people, places, and events that made life meaningful.

Doug was a graduate of Wright State University and served his country in the Ohio Army National Guard. His commitment to service and responsibility carried throughout his professional life, where he built a successful career with Accenture, ultimately serving as a Senior Manager.

While Doug was accomplished in his career, those who knew him best knew that his greatest joys were found outside of work. He was an avid sports fan, with a special love for Cincinnati sports. He was a devoted Reds fan and had the unforgettable experience of being there for the Reds' 1990 National League pennant-clinching victory during their remarkable wire-to-wire championship season. He was also in the stands to witness the Bengals' most recent Super Bowl appearance.

Doug had an adventurous spirit and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He loved hiking and exploring, including challenging backcountry trails through the Grand Canyon. His travels also took him to Machu Picchu, where he experienced one of the world's most remarkable places firsthand. These adventures were about more than reaching a destination; they were about the challenge and the memories made along the way.

He was also a meticulous DIYer with woodworking a particular passion. Doug had an appreciation for older things that were built to last. He valued quality, craftsmanship, and character.

Doug is survived by his brothers Timothy (Bren) Wolfe, Brian Wolfe, Gregory (Sunee) Wolfe and Matthew (Kara) Wolfe as well as many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held 12:00 pm, Thursday October 1 at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave., Reverend Joe Getts officiating.  The family will receive friends Thursday from 11:00 am to the time of service. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery
