Donald L. Welbaum

WELBAUM, Donald L. age 83, of Greenville, passed away Sunday November 10, 2013. Mr Welbaum, a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, was a Third Degree Knights of Columbus Council #10215 and he was a Secular Franciscan. He was retired from WPAFB where he was a Senior Electronics Tech. He was preceded in death by two wives, Rita Welbaum and Mariette Welbaum; two sons, Mark and Matthew Welbaum; and a grandson, Mark Meister. Mr Welbaum is survived by six daughters, Barbara Meister, Ruthanna & Terry Leedom, Donna Kay & Mike Sharp, Karen Price & Mike Braun, Linda Owens, Nancy Welbaum; 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Phyllis Hahn, Pauline & Don Allen; and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a graveside service at 11:00am Thursday at Calvary Cemetery in Kettering. Father Chris Coleman will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
