Diana Lynne Job, age 74, of Kettering, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Fairmont Senior Living Memory Care. She was born April 15, 1952 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to the late Maj. Thomas and Florence (Cooper) Craig, to which she was the oldest of three children.

During her childhood, Diana’s family lived in many places as her father’s Air Force career progressed. She graduated from Beavercreek High School in 1970 before attending Wright State University for a few years. While living in Sylvania, Ohio in the 1980’s, Diana found her passion helping children by starting an in-home childcare business. After moving to Kettering, she worked at Kettering City Schools for 29 years, first as a playground and lunchroom aide, later as a secretary. Diana was a longtime member of Oak Creek UCC, where she served her Lord and the congregation as a consistory member and advocate for Christian Education. Diana had a beautiful, usually present smile. She loved her family, friends, reading, music, long walks, traveling and Buckeye football.

In addition to her parents, Diana was preceded in death by her brother, Doug Craig.

She leaves behind her husband of 49 years, Bill Job; son, Derek Job; brother, Jim (Alle) Craig; sister-in-law, Nancy Craig; brother-in-law, Chuck (Susan) Job, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with her second family from JFK Elementary.

Diana’s family would like to thank the staff of Fairmont Senior Living and Day City Hospice for their compassionate care.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, October 23, 2026 from 4-6pm in the WESTBROCK & DANIEL FUNERAL HOME- KETTERING, 5980 Bigger Road. A Celebration of Diana’s Life will follow at 6:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in her name to the Miami Valley Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association or to the children’s charity of your choice.
