Delbert A. Smith, 84, of Centerville, Ohio died peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on January 13, 2024.
Del was born in North Dakota in 1939 to Burt and Stella Smith. He worked as a civil engineer for Boeing and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. He enjoyed retirement and traveled throughout the states visiting national parks, family, and friends.
Del is survived by his wife("the love of his life"), children, grandchildren,brothers, and sister.
A private service will be on Thursday, January 18 beginning at 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude’s Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
