Deborah A. Hoertt

Deborah Hoertt ,71, of Dayton, passed away peacefully at of Hospice of Dayton on September 3, 2023. Debbie was a graduate Belmont High School and the Dayton School of Practical Nursing. She spent her life caring for others and had a lengthy career working as a nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital and Heartland of Kettering. Following her retirement, Debbie was devoted to the care and well-being of her parents and her special needs brothers, Doug and Tim. Debbie unselfishly put their needs above her own and committed her life to their happiness. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents Horace and Rose Hoertt, dear sister Roseanne Rauch, brothers Doug and Tim, sister Kathleen, nephew Brenden McClain, and brothers-in-law Rick Rogers, Barry McClain, Merle Sears, and Phil Fensel. Our family is grateful for the exceptional end of life care Debbie received from the staff at Miami Valley Hospital and Hospice of Dayton. Debbie will be laid to rest on Friday, September 8. The family will welcome friends at Westbrock Funeral Home (1712 Wayne Avenue) at 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony Church (830 Bowen Avenue) at 11 AM.
