Clyde Wilson Norman, age 80, departed this world on June 1, 2026 to be with the Lord and loved ones that preceded him.

Clyde (Norm) was born on October 16, 1945 to the late Ray and Ruth Norman in Morganton, North Carolina. He graduated from Salem High School and studied at Clark State College in Springfield, Ohio. Clyde retired from ITW Hobart Corporation in Troy, Ohio as an Associate Engineer. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a Vietnam Veteran.

Clyde enjoyed being with family. He was a self-taught artist and loved outdoor activities. He attended Southbrook Christian Church in Miamisburg, Ohio.

Clyde is preceded in death by his wife Linda of 24 years; his son, Bryan Norman, and his sisters, Helen (Norman) Neely and Katherine (Norman) Cox. He is survived by his daughter, Holly Norman; brother-in-law, John Neely, and several nieces and nephews, all residing in North Carolina.

In lieu of a visitation, his daughter, Holly, is asking friends to leave condolences/memories on the funeral home website. A private service will be held at the Dayton National Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio.

Donations can be made in Clyde’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
