Charles H. Webster "Charlie", 87, passed away on January 14th , 2026. He was born in 1938 in Piqua, Ohio.
Charlie was a 1956 graduate of Fairmont High School in Kettering, Ohio and a 1984 graduate of the University of Dayton with a Masters degree in Public Administration.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force, and was honorably discharged in 1961.
Charlie served 25 years as a police officer with the City of Kettering, Ohio and retired with the rank of Lieutenant in 1989. He also served 5 years as the Assistant Chief of Police with the City of Miamisburg, Ohio. He was a police helicopter pilot, and implemented an international police exchange program.
He was a member of the Masonic Order, Lodge number 784 F&AM with the 32nd degree of the Scottish Rite.
Charlie was a baritone singer with the Sarasota Chorus of The Keys chapter of the S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A. and also sang with The Brothers in Song out of The Villages, Florida. He was a member of the Englewood United Methodist Church, where he served on the Board of Trustees and sang in the church choir. He is also a member of the United Methodist Church in Leesburg, Florida.
He is survived by his wife Beverly, his son Michael Webster (Sue) of Morrow, Ohio, his daughter Deborah Dolley (Evan) of Tipp City, Ohio and eight grandchildren. He is also survived by his step-family: Traci Brown (Jeff), Scott Nichols, and Josh Nichols, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 23, 2026 at the Westbrock Funeral Home in Kettering, Ohio. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 - 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at David's Cemetery immediately following the service.
