Ben Westbrock

Bernard Westbrock, "Ben”, age 86 formerly of Dayton of Las Vegas, NV passed away December 23, 2021. Ben was a graduate of Chaminade H.S., U.D., the Army Language School and served in the Army in the Intelligence Corps. He was a world traveler, spent time teaching in New Guinea and worked in publishing in India. Ben was a talented Artist, doing art work for individuals, churches and Government Agencies. Preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Edna May Westbrock; a brother and his wife, Joe (Trudy) Westbrock; and a sister, Ann Spiegel. Ben is survived by a son, Sean; a grandson, Dorian of NV; a brother and his wife, Greg (Carol) Westbrock of Kettering; an ex wife, Nancy Hoover; several nieces, nephews and numerous friends along with a special friend, Emily Dymond of Dayton. Services will be held Wednesday June 12, 12:00 pm at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave., Rev. Joe Getts officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00-12:00 Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
