Barbara Szakal

Szakal, Barbara Louise (Randolph), age 82, formerly from the West Milton & Dayton area, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024 in Loveland, OH. Barb graduated from Trotwood Madison in 1960 and worked at S&V Office Furniture and Supplies for over 35 years. She was an animal lover, especially dogs, and enjoyed many years riding and showing quarter horses. She is survived by a daughter Jen Szakal; two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy (Jill) Thome, Rick (Kelli) Szakal; a brother, Tom Randolph; nine grandchildren, Casey (Maddi) Thome, Jordan (Makenzi) Thome, Megan (Jack) Joachim, Max (Hope) McGrath, Declan McGrath, T.J. McGrath, Emma Szakal, Lily Szakal, Mia Szakal; seven great-grandchildren, Zara, Scarlett, Forrest, Lakelyn, Lydia, Ellie, and JJ. Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, November 1st at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd, Kettering. The family will receive friends Friday prior to the service beginning at 10:00am. Burial to follow at Centerville Cemetery.
