Ayde "Ida" Sansone

SANSONE, AYDE “IDA,” age 105 of Dayton passed away Monday, February 3, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, August “Gus” Samson; parents, Peter and Maddelina Pacini; brother, Emo E. Pacini; sister-in-law, Carolyn Pacini and nephew, Gary Pacini. Ida is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews in Bloomington, IN and Indianapolis, IN. At the age of 5 Ida moved to the United States from Italy, where she returned several times to visit. She enjoyed traveling, eating and entertaining. Ida was a member of the Senior Citizen Club at St. Anthony and was the oldest parishioner at St. Anthony. Visitation will be Friday, February 7th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave, Dayton. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 8th at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Dayton. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
